Our History
In 1973, the Cabin opened its doors in Ascension Parish. What began as part of the Monroe plantation, dating back almost 200 years, has now become one of the most recognizable historic event spaces in south Louisiana. Our goal at Cabin & Courtyard Events is to preserve some local history, cater food typical of the River Road tradition, and make your event or wedding a memorable one.
